Bill Gates, a modern-day Robin Hood?
Being a hero-worshipper of Steve Jobs as i am, i am bound to be an antagonist of Bill Gates and his Mocrosoft outfit. Perhaps my hatred for Microsoft’s ways is not blind if you consider a number of dirty business tactics these guys are famous for: the Halloween Letters, forcing Internet Explorer on costumers and using apple’s protoypes to create Windows.
However nomatter how much a Microsoft-hater one might be, one cannot but look with awe at how Bill Gates and his Bill and Mellinda Gates Foundation have made “a dent in the universe” as his rival Jobs is famous of having said. 
Gates, the philanthropist, has really changed the lives of many people especially in africa through donating funds to help cure diseases such as AIDS, malaria etc.
These noble contributions have led me to see Bill Gates, the software pirater, in another positive light: a Robin Hood who steals from the rich(at least those who can afford Microsft’s licences) and giving to the poor. I say steal because most of Microsoft’s products are arguably shody and hardly work without crashing. As a web developer i am sure many others in my profession will vindicate me in that in that, for example, internet explorer, microsoft’s web browser is sure to cause you headaches when designing websites due to its disregard for web standards (with the exception of the new internet explorer 8).
So there you are, whether you like him or not Bill Gates is obvously playing a big part in wealth redistribution through selling microsoft’s products and giving away some of the money to the underprivileged communities.

Oh, please, do you really think Bill Gates givs a rats’ ass about children or philanthropy? For crying out loud, the Gates Foundation is an INVESTMENT FIRM and perpetual PUBLIC RELATIONS EVENT. Do some research on them.

well i did check your website westdakota and really didnt find anything concrete to substantiate your claims. It seems to me those are just conspiracies that you are suggest with no concrete evidence. As far as i know Gates has been studying philanthropy from as early as five years when he studied the works of Rockfeller and Andrew Carnegie etc. I have my issues with Gates but like any human being, nomatter how bad we maybe there is a part of us thats good. Another thing is i’m also sceptical of people who use vulgar language; which evidently dominates your websites.

Oh, really? You expect us to believe that Bill Gates was studying philanthropy at age five, long before he even began studying computers or sleazy business practices? And I assume you have some CONCRETE EVIDENCE to back up your claim?

Well, anyone who tells the world that Bill Gates was studying philanthropy at age five has no credibility at all, no matter how civil they are.
Ok does it mean that if George W Bush & Adolf Hitler have redeeming qualities who do not talk about them? Thats exactly what i’m doing in this post talking about the good side of Bill Gates and i will not apologise for it. the same applies to the anger i feel in your tone as reflected by the use of inflamatory language.

west dakota, GET A LIFE! you don’t even know Bill Gates so you can’t even say you’re his “sworn enemy”. He has done huge works in phianhropy so stop holding a grudge and be happy for a good deed done by him.
